Hold On To Me by Lucia Franco - Castle Share Post and National Coalition Against Domestic Violence Donation

Along with Breast Cancer Awareness, October is also Domestic Violence Awareness Month. ðŸ’œ

Domestic Violence doesn't have an age, and much like cancer, it can be silent killer. It can happen at anytime and the effects can last a lifetime. Though I've never experienced it, the heroine in my novel Hold On to Me is a victim of Domestic Violence. Alyssa was in an abusive relationship, pregnant, with nowhere to go. Most women stay out of fear, but there are those, like Alyssa, who find the courage to leave. It's a risk they take and they fear for their life in the process. Alyssa took a chance and sought help in the one place she didn't think she'd get it. You see her go through every emotion from the impact of being in an abusive relationship and how it changed her as a whole to learning how to trust again.

For every paid sale of Hold On to Me during the month of October, I will donate $1.00 from each kindle book to the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence💜

If you or someone you know is dealing with emotional distress or abuse, the National Domestic Violence Hotline is a 24/7 hotline dedicated to helping those in need. 1-800-799-SAFE (7233) can help no matter if you think the issue is small or just need someone to talk to, they're there to help.

"I fell absolutely in love with Hold On to Me. Lucia Franco's writing is brilliant. I am still completely enamored by how well Lucia captured these two characters, their choices, their consequences and just how much one wrong decision can create a battle that could last for years."-- Emily, Literary Gossip
