Holiday Hop Featuring Jill Shalvis, Carolyn Brown, Grace Burrowes, Terry Spear, and Sarah Morgan + Giveaway
Ready or not, Christmas is right around the corner, which means shopping, food, family — and holiday romances! This season, award winning authors Jill Shalvis, Carolyn Brown, Terry Spear, and Sarah Morgan each have holiday romances releasing. To get readers into the Christmas spirit, the authors answer the following question: What is your favorite holiday read?
Ladies, take it away!
Jill Shalvis author of One in a Million
I don’t know about my favorite holiday read, but my favorite holiday movie in the past few years is The Holiday. It’s unexpectedly romantic and makes me sigh and fall in love and laugh and cry every single time I watch it. I’m such a sap.
Carolyn Brown author of Cowboy Boots for Christmas
Recently, my favorite read was Lady Sophie’s Christmas by Grace Burrowes. I don’t have as much time to read as I once did. Cowboys keep showing up on my porch, hats in hand and tight fittin’ jeans, and wanting their stories told. And I do have trouble telling them no.
Grace Burrowes author of What A Lady Needs for Christmas
The Gift of the Magi. A lovely story, and as a writer it reassure me that in one lucky sitting, we can come up with a tale that will warm hearts forever more. Size isn’t necessarily important.
Terry Spear author of A Highland Wolf Christmas
No favorite read, but I love watching The Snowman with my grown daughter. For my hero Guthrie MacNeill, he enjoys reading the financial statistics on the packs' finances.
Sarah Morgan author of Maybe This Christmas
The holiday season is the one time of year I don’t read much because it’s a really busy time of year for me. I’ve written a Christmas themed book every year (and sometimes two a year!) since I started writing so I tend to be writing my own rather than reading and it’s become a festive tradition for me. When I want a snowy read I always reach for Nora Roberts’ Northern Lights, which is set in the Arctic. I’ve worn out two copies.
